Registration Information
On site registration is $25.00 per person

Following are the policies and procedures for registering and attending the Nashville Needlework Market. Please read through this registration information carefully as it affects everyone wishing to attend the market.

Business Identification Requirements:
All businesses are required to submit complete business identification every three years. Acceptable business identification is listed for each badge category. Any other form of identification must be authorized by NMI prior to submitting market registration. Please include required identification with your market registration or mail separately if registering on-line. Business identification will be kept on file. 
Attendees:
Attendees are defined as “any company attending the market that is not exhibiting.” An attendee that qualifies for BUYING Privileges is a qualified, licensed, retailer who retails directly to the consumer.
Badge Categories:
Choose carefully. Some categories require a registration fee and are noted. Buying privileges are for owners and managers only and is limited to two badges per shop. Special circumstances may be submitted with market registration for consideration.
Shop owners wishing to register employees may do so, however they will be considered a guest of the shop and will not be given buying privileges. When registering employees, list your Federal Employer Identification (F.E.I.) number.
Non-buyers will be given red color coded badges. Buyers will have green color coded badges.

Pick Up on Arrival
Badges along with class/event admission tickets, badge holder, Show Guide and other pertinent show information must be picked up at the NMI Registration Desk. Any badge corrections should be made at the time of pickup.

On-Site Registration
All attendees registering on site will be charged $25 per person. Business Identification must be brought and left with the registration desk. Badges will not be issued to shops not submitting business identification.

Market Show Guides

This year we are adding more useful sections to our Show Guide. We are continuing the personal planner pages to help you keep track of your appointments during the weekend. The Guide also has a floor plan showing the location of the exhibitors and a listing of each company participating in Friday Night's Meet and Greet. Each shop will be given one Show Guide. Shops registering multiple employees will be given a maximum of two Show Guides per shop at no charge. Additional show guides may be purchased for $5.00 each while they last.

Want to receive your Show Guide ahead of time so you can start making your "game plan" before arriving in Nashville? Show Guides can be mailed directly to you for a postage and handling fee of $5.00 each. The Show Guides will be mailed on January 24th (two weeks prior to market). To take advantage of this service, please fill out the appropriate section on the Market Registration Page. Guides not mailed will be held in your market registration packet.

Leave messages for your associates and arrange timely meetings.
A Message Board will be located in the
Embassy lobby near the NMI Registration area.

Cash & Carry privileges for Teachers, Designers, Distributors, Manufacturers, Publishers and Press
These categories will be purple color coded badges. Cash & Carry priviledges for these categories are only authorized for Sunday, February 10 between the hours of 2-4pm. These categories are free to place orders for future delivery at any time during the market. Buying for personal purposes is not authorized. Registering for a Badge Category that does not accurately reflect your business will result in exclusion from further NMI sponsored markets.

1. Copy of your Resale Certification. A copy of your Business License may be used if your state does not issue a Tax Resale Number.
AND
2. Three of the following:
Invoices (maximum of 3) from participating vendors
dated within 5 months totaling $500.
Company Ad
Current Utility Bill in Company Name
Current Lease Agreement in Company Name
Photo of Shop showing Company Sign
Current Resale Tax report
Current Company Catalog
Current Company Publication
Designer/Teacher/Organization
Purple color coded badges.

1. Three of the following:
Resale Tax Certificate
Company Ad
Business Check
Copy of 2 Designs Published within the past 12 months
Copy of 2 Teaching Contracts within the past 12 months
Copy of Class Reviews from a recent class
Wholesale Distributor/Manufacturer/Publisher
Purple color coded badges.
